Each contest has pushed the boundaries of artistry, showcasing the extraordinary skills of our community. Why We Conduct Alter Contests
We conduct the Alter Contests because we believe in the power of creativity and imagination to bring people together and push the boundaries of what’s possible in 3D art and game design. Our vision is to create a vibrant, supportive community where talented individuals can share knowledge, grow together, and support each other. We aim to highlight the incredible talent within our community, especially in India, by providing a platform for artists and developers to showcase their skills, learn from one another, and collaborate on innovative projects. Ultimately, we want to foster an environment where creativity thrives and amazing games that tell our stories and celebrate our culture can be brought to life and appreciated worldwide.
Alter Contest #1: Prime Pyramid Contest
Our adventure began with the “Prime Pyramid Contest,” where participants transformed a basic template into stunning 3D creations. Artim Mortis emerged as the winner, setting a high standard for creativity and inspiring us all. This contest was the perfect kickstart, proving that even simple beginnings can lead to remarkable outcomes.
Alter Contest #2: Bob the Builder
Next, we launched the “Bob the Builder” contest, challenging participants to design buildings with unique textures and shapes. The winners were:
- 1st Place: itx phantom
- 2nd Place: Shashank Keshavmuthy
- 3rd Place: Vinay O Arts
The prizes included a smartwatch, Xbox controller, and Sony headphones. The architectural brilliance and originality displayed were truly awe-inspiring, reminding us that creativity knows no bounds.
Alter Contest #3: Dreamscapes Challenge
For our third contest, we chose the theme “Dreamscapes Challenge,” inviting participants to create low-poly dreamlike environments. The winners were:

- 3rd Place: Anushri Adhikary
The magical and immersive worlds crafted by our contestants transported us to places beyond our wildest dreams, highlighting the artistic genius within our community.
Alter Contest #4: Surreal Tree Models
The fourth contest took a whimsical turn with the challenge to create surreal, imaginative tree models. The results were nothing short of spectacular, with trees that defied gravity and featured luminous leaves. The winners were:

- 3rd Place: Manish
Prizes included a curved monitor, PS5 controller, and RGB keyboard. This contest proved that when imagination takes flight, the results can be truly extraordinary.
Alter Contest #5: The Surreal Stall Showdown
Our most recent contest, “The Surreal Stall Showdown,” pushed participants to design food stalls and carts that looked like they were from another world. The winners were:

The unique and fantastical elements in each submission were incredible, with prizes like a gaming racing wheel, Echo Dot, and drawing tablet adding to the excitement.
